Story

The RNLI has been operating at full capacity since the start of lockdown. Our service has been rescuing people throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and our heroic crews commitment to saving lives has not stopped. Unfortunately, our ability to raise funds has been limited. The average lifeboat station in the North West costs £136,000 a year to run and we are going to have a significant shortfall in income due to the Coronavirus. We are asking all our friends and communities to donate what they can to keep us running. All along the North West coast from Silloth to West Kirby, we will always be there to keep you and your loved ones safe, on our watch, there will be no preventable deaths on the North West coast. Please help us fulfil that mission.

This is a great Charity and God Forbid, If anything was to befall you or your family out at sea, You would be iternally greatful to the service these good people provide out of the goodness of there hearts and through this charity alone. They risk their own Lives for YOU!! And thats volentary.

This event was set for the 1st of May but due to unforseen events beyond our control and the Carona virus we had to cancel until further in the year which is now set at the 6h and 7th of August.

Please give generoustly on this Just giving site, or on our sponsor forms.

Our sponsor for the event is the award winning "Hillcroft Holliday Park" at Ullswater, and the boats and equipment are all being donated for use on the event date from "Go Wild Boat Hire" within Hillcroft Holiday Park.

A great big Thank you from the top of our hearts to Mr and Mrs Heath for sponsering us.
