Hello

I'm President of Cambridge Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and our biggest charity fundraiser of the year is normally our annual dinner in December. This year was due to be extra special as it is the 100th anniversary of our institute being established. 

Due to obvious reasons, we can't hold the get together this year. With this in mind, I wanted to recognise the centenary by raising funds for charity at the same time... and running off some mince pies.

During the month of December, I'll be running 100km for 100 years of Cambridge CII. My fellow council member Mark Hassall is also taking part by cycling 100km. 

We are raising money for Cancer Research UK. Over recent years, several family members have battled cancer and so this is a cause very close to my heart. 

All donations are really appreciated by me and Cancer Research UK.
