Since the first Nello Century Cycle Challenge in 2000, the ride has raised more than £1.2m for FORCE Cancer Charity which has enable us to continue supporting local people affected by cancer. 

The Nello is our single biggest fundraising event of the year and with the need for our services greater than ever, raising as much money as we can in 2023 is massively important.

During the pandemic people didn't or couldn't see their GP and screening for things like breast and bowel cancer were suspended. As a result, there were delays in diagnosis for tens of thousands of people, sometimes too late to offer life-saving treatment. 

COVID created a perfect storm which left patients facing even more complete challenges than ever due to those delays, isolation, fear of infection and changes to their treatment plans. 

At FORCE we're seeing impact every day but it's the tip of the iceberg. That's why the support offered by FORCE is needed more than ever.

We hugely appreciate all the donations and voluntary support we receive from supporters like you, taking part in fundraising events like the Nello. In these uncertain economic times, it is even more vital that we have the backing of all those who understand the value of our services.
