I want to raise money for Intact to support all the wonderful work they do in our community here in Preston, and especially in Ingol and Tanterton. For as long as I can remember, they have been working to help local people in so many ways from finding work, learning skills, and fighting against food poverty.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, their work has been more vital than ever as people have struggled with more employment, mental health, and keeping families fed. And at the same time charities across the country have struggled to get the funding they need to help. I know how hard people in Preston work for each other and by running the Manchester Marathon, I hope I can raise awareness of the brilliant work Intact do and that together we can raise money for this amazing community centre.
