Take to the stairs, get sponsored, and help end poverty. The only way is up (and down again).

Story

Nathan and Bonnie are going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro this month to  raise funds for Tearfund so that people living in poverty will be better equipped to deal with the devastation of coronavirus.

Of course we can't actually climb the mountain. So, we'll climb our staircase instead! That's right each day for a month we'll make the ascent of our staircase 90 times a day totalling the 6000M of one of world's great landmarks.

That may seem easy - but remember we'll be doing it without any oxygen equipment, altitude aclimatisation, guides or specialist gear. That's right - just us and our staircase. Wish me luck!

Our aim is to raise £120. By sponsoring us you will help Tearfund’s work, including promoting hygiene practices, providing food for those in quarantine and building hand washing stations.

We’re starting to see the impact coronavirus is having on some of the poorest communities. In places with poor healthcare and less infrastructure the potential for devastation increases.
