I am running the London marathon to raise money for the meningitis research foundation. My son Ashley contracted meningicoccal septiceamia when he was only 6 months old and very nearly lost his life! I spent an 8 day bedside vigil praying for him to be ok. He was one of the lucky ones who survived. I would like to help raise awareness of this disease and raise vital funds for the charity.
