Story
My name is Steve Peel and I am hoping to raise a shed load of money by running the entirety of the River Thames pathway from Gloucestershire to London.
I will run one marathon each day, starting on *Friday 25th September at the source of the River Thames (near Kemble), and finishing marathon number 9 near Greenwich Park on Saturday 3rd October. I will then run my final marathon (number 10) on Sunday 4th October, as a participant in the Virgin London Marathon 2020.
*Please note that the dates were originally from April 17th to April 26th but had to be postponed due to the Covid19 pandemic. It also means that I am now only able to complete this by running the Thames Path "Virtually". I am devastated that I will not be able to run the length of the Thames for real, seeing the incredible wildlife, exploring the twists and turns through the gorgeous countryside, and seeing the magnificent skyline of London slowly appear in the distance. I will still do 26.2 miles each day, but I will run around my beautiful home county of Dorset instead.
Please, please, please give generously to support me as I run over 260 miles for this ridiculous challenge..... and also - please can you share the heck out of this to ensure that I can absolutely smash my target !!!!!
Thank you so much. The money you donate really will help families to make the best life possible, as well as encourage me and power every single step I take.
Forever grateful, Steve xxx
