Story
Greenfingers Charity is a national charity dedicated to creating magical gardens for children and their families who spend time in hospices around the UK. The charity is committed to creating specially designed, stimulating garden spaces that can bring many benefits to children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.
In 2016 we launched a special Greenfingers sweet pea in aid of the charity and donate 25p to Greenfingers Charity with each packet. We have raised £2,586.25 over the last 5 years through seed sales, you can do your bit by buying them here:

But we wanted to take it one step further and so in 2017, we raised over £3,000 for the charity taking part in the Greenfingers 20 mile Garden Re-Leaf walk. In 2018 we returned with 5 walkers and 2 members of staff completing a 100-mile bike challenge and raised another £2,608.47. For the 2019 event, we raised another £2,119.68 on the walk, and the staff back at headquarters raised another £275 with their fundraising activities back at base.
Like so many other charities, Greenfingers Charity saw a downturn in its income in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however their hospice waiting list grew ever longer as the therapeutic benefits of spending time outside and close to nature was recognised by the nation.
Now we are able to hold fundraising events again... Mr Fothergill's Lightning Seeds are back, taking part in this year's event on 18 March and we want to raise even more! Please help us to hit our fundraising target for Greenfingers by donating now!
