Mountains for Mind 10 Peak Challenge

Mountains for Mind! 10 Peak Challenge – April 2019 · 27 April 2019
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
With 1 in 4 people in Britain experiencing mental health problems each year – which includes people in our group – we’re taking on the Coledale Round to fundraise for Mind, the leading mental health
charity in England and Wales.
The Coledale Round is a 10 peak challenge which we’re tackling on Saturday 27th April 2019.
This 13 mile circular walk takes in 10 summits in the north-western fells, starting and finishing in Braithwaite, two miles from Keswick in the Lake District.
The peaks we climb are: Barrow (455m); Outerside (568m); Causey Pike (673m); Scar Crags (672m); Sail (773m); Crag Hill (839m); Wandope (772m); Grasmoor (852m); Hopegill Head (770m) and Grisedale Pike (791m).
It’s been scientifically proven that spending time in the great outdoors is a powerful, natural anti-depressant and that regular exercise can reduce the risk of depression by 30%.
Our team consists of Anthony Carver-Smith, Lee McClory, Wayne Massey, Jack Smith, Paul Radford and Bobby Squires.
We’ll be posting regular updates of our challenge in real time on Twitter, so start following @acsnottingham, @paulradford22 and @18jacksmith
