We are sure that you are approached with requests and pleas for assistance with fundraising by a number of people. We are also sure that every single one of the causes that people are fundraising for are all incredibly worthy and deserving – we choose a different charity each year to raise money for.

However, this year the case is slightly different – we are raising money for a charity even more close to our hearts at The Morgans Group because it is for Ovarian Cancer Action. This charity has been handpicked by Kelsey Roberts who has taken it upon herself to raise money for this cause as she herself was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer at just 19 years old. Kelsey is also the daughter of Dave Roberts, our manager at Morgans of Ruthin. Dave himself has worked for Morgans for so many years and is like part of the family so when we were discussing which charity we were going to raise money for this year, it really wasn’t a hard decision for us.

Kelsey’s positivity and attitude is beyond inspiring and we want to try and do our bit – both in promoting the charity but also by raising money. So this year, on 9^th September, 20 of us within the Morgans Group will be donning our walking boots and climbing Snowdon! With
drastically varying levels of fitness within the group (!) this will certainly
be a challenge and we look forward to tackling it together!

We will actively be promoting our efforts and asking people to dig deep with sponsorship; the charity isn’t as widely known as some and we
also know how much it means to Kelsey to see the grand total raised creep up. So if you could consider sponsoring us it would mean the world.
