Story
One in 14 people over the age of 65 have dementia, and by 2040, there will be over 1.5 million people with dementia in the UK.
Dementia affects every person differently but what many families find difficult is the loss of identity that happens to a loved one with dementia. The loss of memories and personality that makes that person your mum, your dad or your brother for example can be very hard for loved ones.
The team at MD are running the Bath Half this year in support of the Alzheimer Society, not only to raise much needed funds but also in honour of those living with this disease and to remember that no matter what happens they are still the person we love.
If you can support our 'He's still Kevin' campaign and donate we would be extremely grateful.
