Story
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer … yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
I was 26 years old when I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After an awake craniotomy, 6 weeks of radiotheraphy and a 6 month course of chemotherapy, the tumour is no longer visible.
7 years on and I am determined to complete the London Marathon, for the second time, in April 2023 to support the work of Brain Tumour Research and to help raise awareness of this terrible disease.
