Story
On the 17th June 2020 our lovely friend Ceri Weston left us after the most courageous five and a half year battle with Pancreatic cancer.
In that time, she fought to raise awareness of this terrible disease, raise money for the charities supporting her and others and create lasting memories for her family. She really was a fighter and leaves a great legacy behind.
We are running the Virtual Great North Run on the 13th September 2020 to raise money in Ceri's name for a charity called Jigsaw who work with bereaved children, and who have already been supporting Ceri's husband Gary and their two small children Austin and Leo and will continue to work with them for the foreseeable future. The money we raise in Ceri's name will directly impact them which is why we feel so passionate about this charity.
We are most definitely not as fit as we were 5 years ago (after 2 children, sleepless nights and the regular consumption of our children's leftovers) so please support us with anything you can!!
Thanks for visiting our page and thank you in advance for your donation.
