Sooo during July 2017....

I've decided since I want to raise money for local  charities and want to do something a Lil different AND cars have been my passion in life for a few decades now, that I would take part in the Wacky Rally Challenge. A route of 1,500 miles or so (if I get the directions right).  Over 9 countries, one of the Alps highest passes, French Riviera, Costs Brava and finally the great city of Barcelona.  

And guess what?!?!  The car I'm driving is a banger which has to cost me £300 or less. The banger is to be decorated to catch people's eyes. Personalised in a glorious imaginative way. Therefore Scottish theme for me, me thinks! 

Capturing part of Europes stunning scenery along the way. A trip I'll remember for the rest of my life. 

The challenge takes 4 days..

Day 1 - Lille to Thun 

5 countries in one drive on this day. 

Day 2 - Where the fun driving really begins. Head over the Alps to Italy. 5 mountain passes.

Day 3 - Travelling from the heart of the mountains and stunning countryside we head off to the French Riviera, over one more picturesque mountain pass. I will pass Monte Carlo (woohoo). 

Day 4 - Arles to Barcelona where we will celebrate a finish with a party with the other banger racers!
