Story

We are on a mission to raise as much money for Matthew’s special school, Saxon Wood, which does an amazing job of supporting and educating Matthew as well as his many friends with disabilities.

Through our local golf club, Weybrook Park, Basingstoke, they decided on Saxon Wood as one of their fantastic charities to support this year. So we decided to show how the golf community can support  its local community in an amazing way. 😊

My son Matthew has a life limiting condition called Myotubular Myopathy but despite his condition he continues to defy all odds. At school, this is no exception. His awesome strength (considering he has a muscle weakness) and determination is just humbling to see on a daily basis. He has flourished at school along with his brilliant friends not only thanks to his own will, but thanks to a truly dedicated and supportive school team who are awesome with the kids.

If you can donate anything, no matter how large or small it would be extremely appreciated as the school relies on this type of funding to help support, educate and enrich the children’s lives, who already have enough difficulties to deal with. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for Matthew and his friends. 😊
