Story

Here we go one more time!!!! On Monday 27 August 2018, I will carry out another crazy walk. The Thames Path starts in Kemble, Gloucestershire and ends at the Thames barrier, total 184 miles. The walk should take 9 to 12 days. It is basically 3 and a half marathons. It will mainly be at night along a tiny path, lit by a head torch. Sounds easy? It isnt a nice place in the dark. I will have to watch out for the River itself, insects, wildlife, uneven ground. There will be some places miles from any help...

The last walk, was from Oxford to Richmond. I thought it was 100 mile in 1 day. Turned out I read it wrong! I should of walked 100 km in a day. It took 3 days to complete.

I am going to walk from Kemble, Gloucestershire after a night shift. Walked 60 miles to Oxford, where I started the last walk. Get coach to Richmond (thanks to Oxford Bus Company) where I finished last walk. Walk to the Thames Barrier. A further 24 miles (a marathon) through London to the Thames Barrier. I hope to do this in 3 days!

THIS MEANS NONE STOP WALKING TO OXFORD. A short break on the bus and tube (2 hours roughly) then NONE STOP TO THE END.

I have not trained this time and I won't have company! I am also carrying an ankle injury I can not shake off :-(

Please sponsor me in order to buy sick children toys :-) to play with. They have gone through awful times so a little something will help a lot...

I am going to walk it in fancy dress as Where's Wally!!!!!
