Fundraising for Pilgrims Hospices In East Kent

In memory of Marion Bray
We provide skilled and compassionate care to people with a life-limiting illness.

Story

On Wednesday 15th July, our wonderful wife, mum and grandma sadly passed away at the Pilgrims Hospice in Ashford, Kent after a short battle with motor neurone disease.  The care that we all received from the staff at the hospice was incredible, particularly given the current Covid-19 challenges.

Pilgrims Hospice receive only 20% of their funding from the Government. The remainder comes through fundraising activities and donations. We would be very grateful for any donations that you are able to give so that Pilgrims can continue to provide care and support to people in need.

We are holding a private family funeral at our local church on Monday 27th July and a memorial at a later date when the restrictions will hopefully be lifted.

Although Marion adored her garden and flowers, we know that she would appreciate that no flowers are sent to the funeral, and instead a donation to the hospice is made in her name.
