Story

We want to fundraise for MNDA Mid Kent Branch and ensure that local people and their families, affected by Motor Neurone Disease, can continue to get much needed support, particularly during this difficult time. My husband Paul, Carl and Harvey's dad, was supported by the Mid Kent branch, he was a keen runner so we are running laps of our village of 2.6k until we reach 26K, for Paul (Dad) and to help save a charity close to our hearts - MNDA Mid Kent.

Save the UK's Charities General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
