Delph Poppy Waterfall
Fundraising for The Royal British Legion
Fundraising for The Royal British Legion
The Delph Poppy Waterfall has been created to place a strong feature of Remembrance in the centre of one of Saddleworth's largest villages, and is a project in which young people have been at the very heart.
Supported by Cllr. Luke Lancaster (Borough Councillor - Saddleworth North) and Alison Clowes (RBL Poppy Appeal Organiser for Saddleworth), local Cadets have painted and assembled this display. The students of Delph Primary School also partook in a design competition, with the artwork of Charlotte Curtis now featuring on a sponsorship certificate of appreciation.
We are kindly asking for donations in sponsorship of the Delph Poppy Waterfall, in aid of The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2022. All donations will be gratefully received, and will go towards supporting services to our Armed Forces community.
Any donations of £5 to £9.99 will receive an electronic sponsorship certificate of appreciation, and any donations of £10 and above will receive a physical cerificate. Please make sure to declare name of sponsorship on this fundraising page, and also email your name and home address to luke.lancaster@oldham.gov.uk under the subject line 'Delph Poppy Waterfall'.
*All emails received to the above effect will be confidentially held and deleted at the earliest opportunity once actioned.
