My name is Lucy and I was born with cerebral palsy. Normally I get around using an electric wheelchair as I am unable to walk unaided. I use my walking frame to exercise my legs, but I never usually walk for more than a few hundred metres. Walking the 2 miles from my home to the local village,Tibberton, will be a really huge challenge for me.

I have been very saddened watching everything that is going on in Ukraine. It has deeply affected me, as I'm sure it has many others,  and I really want to do my bit to help the people there who are suffering so much.  A little bit of pain for me to walk two miles is nothing compared to what many of the Ukrainian people are going through, but I hope that it will demonstrate my solidarity with them
