On 5th March, 2023, I will be competing in the Tokyo Marathon. For me, this will be the last of the six World Major Marathons - my journey began at the New York Marathon in 2016; the following year, I took part in the Berlin Marathon; Chicago next in 2018 and finally Boston and London in 2019.

I was due to compete in the Tokyo Marathon in 2020 but that was cancelled due to Covid; the 2021 race was also cancelled and I chose to defer my place to March, 2023.

My training has been interrupted by injuries and most recently by an infection from a fall; however, my training has resumed and with the support of all my running friends, I am confident that I will complete the Tokyo marathon next month and finally claim my six stars medal!!

Please support my fund raising efforts in memory of my lovely friend, Jenny Ayers, who died at the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice almost 10 years ago, and more recently to remember Farnham Runner and friend, Alison Yearsley, who was supported at home by staff from the hospice in her final days.
