Our much-loved colleague Liza Pickles passed away on 25 November 2018.

Liza was an enormously popular member of our Family team. We miss her kindness, common sense, legal expertise and her infectious sense of fun. Liza was committed to her clients and was highly respected within the local legal community.

We've signed up to Liza's Legacy, a series of fundraising events to honour Liza's memory and to raise funds for Overgate Hospice, whose amazing staff cared for Liza in the final days of her life.

11 May 2019: The Class of '74 Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

7 June 2019: The Wilkinson Woodward Charity Quiz Night

28 June 2019: Emily Lockwood's Charity Skydive

6 July 2019: The Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike ( funds from this event will be collected separately and will go to Macmillan Cancer Support)

13 July 2019: The Overgate 5k Colour Run

14 September 2019: Overgate Midnight Walk

30 September 2019: Liza's Birthday Bake Sale
