Story
Thanks for taking the time to read my story.
Too often these days I'm finding myself surrounded by those suffering with cancer and the bereavement caused when someone dies. It is clear that no one is safe from this disease. Sadly I can also add a family Member and my best friends dad to this number. Those that have lost their lives to this awful disease. Whether it be melanoma, breast cancer, bowel cancer, Pancreatic cancer, bone cancers...the stories don't stop with mine alone so many people are still going through this day in day out.
I feel helpless. I work alongside an amazing team that support families when bereaved, I often fundraise at least twice a year in the hope we can make a difference. That is why I'm asking for your support in donating to our local Hospice St Wilfrids.
Anyone that knows me knows me as someone who tries to take care of their appearance. Since the birth of my Daughter my hair has been slowly falling out and thinning to the point of needing to do something about it. I have not yet been brave enough to shave my hair, until now, I am prepared to shave my head for this amazing cause but I can only do it with the help and support of all of you! If I can raise as little as £600 I am prepared to overcome my fears and the anxiety it has caused.
By shaving my head I'm hoping you will be generous with your donations and together we will be one step closer to making this awful disease a disease of the past.
