Anyone who knows me will know that I hate heights and being cold in equal measure. Yet here I am, signed up to abseil off Liverpool Cathedral in August 2019 and survive in the Arctic in March 2020. This is because I have the huge honour of being the Medical Director of the Marie Curie Hospice Liverpool and I believe passionately in the value of the care delivered by the fantastic team that I work with.
