We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Getting news that the world's finest daughter – the ridiculously excellent Sophie Stocks - had the all-clear following her skin cancer operation made me a very, very happy Dad! All of which means I can take on my next charitable challenge with a smile on my face and an even more meaningful mission driving me on. Introducing #thehometownpaddle !
My epic 200 mile paddleboard odyssey by sea, estuary, river and canal. Leaving my new hometown of Abersoch 09.45 (main beach, Golf Road slipway) Saturday June 15th, arriving my old hometown of Poynton 7pm Wednesday 10th July  at the very bridge on the Macclesfield Canal from where #thepaddleboardcommute set sail December 2017, and where Sophie, Sally, Laurie and I would merrily row our little boat in the endless Poynton summers of years gone by.
This time the waters will be trickier. Taking in the Bardsey Sound, the Menai Straits and the Mersey Estuary, it will all be in aid of Cancer Research and I'm hoping local paddlers (or walkers and runners who want to follow the Coastal Path and towpaths) will join me on each leg to help raise the profile, boost funds and (ideally) stop me from drowning.
Please just message me via Insta if you'd like to be part of it or search for The Hometown Paddle on JustGiving to make a donation. Look out for #thehometownpaddle updates on AbersochLife.com, my Facebook page and my @kevinbellwaterman Instagram account
