Martha's hair cut, to turn into a wig.

Kellie Cheshire is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Martha's hair cut, to turn into a wig. · 13 March 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

After watching a programme about children who had lost their hair due to cancer, Martha was very upset. She asked if she could help and asked if she could send her hair to the children. So she's decided to cut off 10-12 inches depending on the length at the time of cutting and donate this to The Little Princess Trust. However,  to make a wig it all costs money. It costs £550 to make the wig. Once we have hit the target Martha will have her hair cut at a local salon, so together with the hair and donations another child can start smiling again. I must add we are very proud of Martha for wanting to do this. So thank you in advance for all of the donations that will hopefully be made to help make this happen.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
