For 30 years AFK / Action For Kids has been providing specialist mobility equipment, relevant education and employment support and inclusive activities for disabled children and young people

Story

After vowing to never again run more than 10k in one go I’m running the London Marathon in 2022! London has been my home for over 25 years and the Marathon has been a constant feature, whether organising finish line receptions or cheering on the charity superstars, friends and my husband who have all run it over the years. Now it’s my turn! And what better cause than AFK (Action for Kids). They’ve been providing support and opportunities for disabled children and young people for over 30 years and I’ve seen first hand the huge difference the charity makes. Please sponsor me if you can!

AFK is a disability and neurodiversity charity providing support to children and young people across the UK. We assist young people in accessing specialised mobility equipment that isn't available on the NHS and routes to paid employment in an effort to close the disability employment gap.
