We provide a Brighter Future to enhance care for our patients

Story

I'm doing these challenges to raise money for charity  instead of celebrating my 70th birthday in September next year.

By challenging myself in lots of different ways, big and small, I want to show solidarity with people who are bravely dealing with life threatening and terminal illnesses and the amazing people and charities who help them.

We lost my husband to terminal cancer in 2009 and my courageous son Colin has been treated for cancer this year, as well as countless other dear friends and family members over the years. Great western hoapital are fundraising for a radiotherapy unit which will save people like Colin from travelling all the way from Swindon to Oxford for treatment.

❤ UPDATE:- My son has now been diagnised with terminal cancer and has a few months to live, which he is doing with incredible strength and good humour. ❤

Every donation really means the world to me.
