Story
I'm doing these challenges to raise money for charity instead of celebrating my 70th birthday in September next year.
By challenging myself in lots of different ways, big and small, I want to show solidarity with people who are bravely dealing with life threatening and terminal illnesses and the amazing people and charities who help them.
We lost my husband to terminal cancer in 2009 and my brave son Colin has been treated for cancer this year, as well as countless other dear friends and family members over the years. The Royal United Hospital treated my husband David during his illness and this is my way of giving back.
Every donation really means the world to me.
