Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Two years ago I did my first open water swim, a mile in Windermere with a wetsuit on and many of you were very generous in sponsoring me.  Between us we raised around £2000. Despite the fact my god daughter, Jessica, informed me that I swam like a slug!

In true Hollywood style part 2 needed to be bigger and better!  During 2017 I will complete the following without the aid of a wetsuit:

1. March 11th 6 hour open water swim in 15 degrees or less to qualify to swim the English Channel

2. July 20th an end to end swim of Lake Windermere 10.5 miles (temperature - who knows its England!)

3.  AUGUST WB 14TH SWIM THE ENGLISH CHANNEL.  A minimum of 22 miles, more likely to be around 30 (temperature - who knows its England!)

4. Raise £10,000 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital

Your part in this task is to, pretty please, help me raise the money, sponsor me big or small it all helps.

However, once you have contributed yourself, you have another challenge to complete.  Nominate someone else to sponsor me - someone I don't know.  It only needs to be £1 as I'm sure between us we know 10,000 people!  You could make it easy on yourselves and persuade your nominee to give £2 - that way between us we only need to have 5000 friends.....

Whatever, you decide to do, give big or small - thank you soooo much for your support.  Tune in regularly for updates.

I am doing this for Shaun, Bea and my Dad.
