Story
No words can come close to explain how you feel when someone says “I’m sorry you have cancer!” Those 5 little words that completely tore mine and everyone I hold dear worlds apart.
I promised myself that cancer would never define me or my family. Never once did we complain why me or why us??? We did what we do best as a family and carried on with the life we wanted to live!! And most importantly we continued to be active and exercised throughout. Exercise and physical activity can should be prescribed as part of an cancer journey
This is why I’m running the London Landmark Half Marathon. To raise funds and awareness that cancer can effect younger ladies
Coppafeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to instil a new healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early and correctly by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
