On the 3rd of May 2001 Barnsley Hospice inpatient unit opened. I have been lucky enough to nurse there from the very first day.  To celebrate 17 years of the inpatient unit  and raise vital funds for such a worthy cause myself and Jennie are taking part in the 17th Great Wall of China Half Marathon (1 May 2018). This is a half marathon like no other. The route consists of 5008 steps at an elevation of 1200metres. The average finish time for a female runner on this particular part of the wall is 5 hours. So please support Jennie and I by helping us to raise as much money as we can for Barnsley Hospice. Thank you 🇨🇳 x
