Well it's been a really tough year for everyone in various ways, but charities have been hit particularly hard and on the most part demand for their services has massively increased. Now is a time to look at the wider community and see what we can do to help, so.... I'm going to drag myself up a mountain and get on a fundraising mission along the way!

Summer 2022 I'll be heading up Mt. Kilimanjaro to check out the views and raise a whole load of funding for The National Autistic Society. This charity has been supporting those on the autistic spectrum and their families for almost 60 years in the Uk. They run a huge range of services including: educational & mental health support, campaigning for improved rights & opportunities, parent-to-parent support, as well as running specialist, independent free schools around the country.(the list goes on - please have a look on the website if you're interested to find out more of the great work they do!)

The complete unpredictability and lack of routine in 2020 has been challenging for most of us, but this is heightened for many of those on the autistic spectrum meaning the support and advocacy of The National Autistic Society is crucial.
