My daughter, Imi, and we as a family have benefited hugely from the
services offered by Linkable. This is a small way of giving something back for the amazing care and support they have offered over the years.

As a parent of a special needs child charities like Linkable are incredibly valuable. Weekends and holiday periods are normally times for rest and to enjoy doing relaxing things together as a family. However, your caring responsibilities don't stop and the toll this takes is hard to explain. When your first question when trying to plan something or find a little "me time", is "What's Imi doing?" it can sometimes become too much. Splitting caring duties can divide the family and at times cause a level of stress and resentment.  Having somewhere that we can take Imi and leave her knowing she will be safe, entertained, challenged, loved and looked after is a massive benefit and provides that much needed respite.

So, I am taking on the RideLondon-Essex 100 challenge – a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex on Sunday 29th May 2022.
