Story

I am Johnathan Westacott and I am 9 years old. I live in North Devon with my mum, dad and our 3 dogs!

In April this year I am planning to walk the West Highland Way in Scotland, covering 96 miles over 8 days! If the weather is on our side I will attempt to climb Ben Nevis on the 9th day taking my total miles to 106!

I have lots of family supporting me along the way, my Mum, Dad, Nanny, Pops, Uncle & Aunty will all be walking with me along with some other family members walking and supporting us along the ‘Way’.

I love animals and thought this was a great way to raise some money for a fantastic charity helping our pets live happy and health my lives! My inspiration to raise money for the PDSA not only come from my love of animals but also came from watching videos of Max, Harry and Paddy @Max Out in the Lake District on Facebook I wanted to join their mission to raise money for the PDSA.

Please help me to reach my target and please join me through my training journey and video diary of my walk along the ‘Way’ on Facebook.

Every pet deserves to lead a happy and healthy life. As the UK's leading veterinary charity with 48 Pet Hospitals, we improve pets lives through prevention, education and treatment.Every year our dedicated veterinary teams carry out 2.7 million treatments on 470,000 pets in need - all made possible thanks to people like you.
