We, Jody Bunting and Helen Aughton, have been friends since 2018 when we met working for Weight Watchers. 

On a spa weekend last year together we were watching TV show Strictly Come Dancing together and we looked up this Ultra Charity event "Ultra Ballroom" where we could take part together in a strictly style show together.

We will be starting our 8 weeks of training from February and then dancing the American Smooth at Pride Park Stadium on Sunday 2nd April from 3pm (Jody - I’m hoping to wear a pink suit!). Jody - I am personally wanting to raise money for CR UK as one of my aqua class babes - Maureen in Burton - died of Cancer in January, so I would like to dedicate my dance and fundraising to the lovely Maureen Boden. 

Helen - My husband passed away in 2018. Strictly was one of his favourites, as close friends & family know. As a family of mum, dad & 3 girls, we'd watch the show every Saturday night. Predicting scores & passing our own commentary. This is my tribute in his memory. Most friends will know he passed from MND. However, we all know the fight against cancer is also an ongoing fight.
