Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Our Mia is having at least 12 inches of her beautiful long hair chopped off. And not only is she donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust but she would also like to donate as much money as she possible can to The Children Burns Club at Broomfield Hospital.
Mia would like to give her hair to The Little Princess trust to try and help the poorly little girls who no longer have hair due to their illnesses/health, to hopefully make them just a tiny bit happier.
Mia really wants to raise the money for The Childrens Burns Club at Broomfield hospital. This charity is very close to our family's hearts and if it wasnt for the love, care and support from this club we really dont know where we would be today as a family.
Mia's younger sister Maizie was involved in an accident on 3rd January 2013 (aged 8 months) which resulted in Maizie nearly losing her life. she was a very poorly baby and spent 3 and half month on the Burns intensive care unit at Broomfield Hospital and then became even more poorly and spent a month in Great Ormand Street Hospital and all of this time she was on full life support. Finally she started to pull through and get better and we managed to get her home for her 1st Birthday!!!
Maizie is now a very happy bubbly 5 year old, she spends alot of time in and out of hospital having operations, physio, laser treatment ect. But she is such an inspiration a takes everything that is thrown at her.
The Children Burn Club helps burn survivors and their families cope with everyday life and gives them the chance to feel that they can be their selves and shows them that they are not alone. They have helped and taught us so much and we would truly be lost without them all. This charity is sadly not funded by the NHS and solely relays on donation and fundraising.
