Story
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
I, Jodi Halligan, age 33, not more than a month ago in october, was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. I believe that the hardest thing to come to terms with, at present, is losing my hair, so I can only imagine what it would be like for a child. However, without giving in to cancer, I will embrace it and have made my own decision to cut my hair before chemo starts, keeping it healthy and donating it to The Little Princess Trust, before the final stage of shaving it off completely. I have other family members also wanting to donate their hair, which is amazing, but the hair on it's own does not form a wig. A lot of time, money and effort is required to make these wigs and put a smile on a childs face, to help make their journey that little bit easier. If I/we can help make that happen , then let's do it!
