Mum was a great animal lover and was particularly fond of our dogs (all of them over the years) to whom she was affectionately known as 'Granny Treats'.

It was her parting wish that friends and loved ones should not send flowers, but instead make a donation, however large or small, to support the amazing work done by those who help to provide and train assistance dogs for people with disabilities.  These expertly trained dogs can make a life-changing difference to people with profound needs - not just in the astonishing practical tasks that they are able to fulfil, but also as companions for life.
