Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My dad died peacefully in St Ann's Hospice on the 10th of September 2018. He was there for around 4 months. In that time the care and support they provided to my Dad, myself, my sisters and brother was outstanding. They made an awful situation easier.
St Ann's Hospice is a charity and only a third of their funding comes from the NHS, meaning they need to raise £20,000 every day to keep the hospice doors open.
So on Saturday the 7th September 2019 Steve & I will be running from our home in Oxton to St Ann's Hospice in Cheshire and biking back again. We hope Molly will join us for some of it too. We have roughly calculated the distance to be 50 miles (both ways). As well as your money you are welcome to join us for some (all of it) ... the more the merrier.
UPDATE 26th January 2019: When the amazing company I work for said they'd help me with my fundraising I was thinking a few cake sales, office charity days .... but they were thinking BIG! A bike ride from Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes to St Ann's Hospice which is a short 165 miles! So on the 5th July Steve and I along with my two colleague, Adrian & Steve and a few of their friends will be starting and hopefully finishing this adventure within 24 just in time to get to a pub :)
