Story
This December I will head south, very far south, just 600 miles short from the South Pole, to go camping (yes, in a tent) on the Union Glacier and race the Antarctic Ice Marathon. Highlights will be a lot of snow, a lot of ice, and summerly -20C temperatures. And obviously still looking to complete the 42.2km/26.2mile marathon distance running in these conditions.
On this occasion I would also like to fundraise for a charity acting closer to home, Hospice UK, which supports those nearing their end of life and experiencing death in hospice care, and those affected by grief and bereavement.
Thank you in advance for your help and encouragement on this fundraising for Hospice UK and overall for this challenge!
