My mum, Freida, has been isolating at home for weeks and weeks and has been thinking of ways she can help raise funds for St David's Hospice Care. So, she's decided to get her head shaved on her birthday.

"Why not!" she said. "I'm not going to be going out for weeks and no-one can come here. And anyway, your hair will always grow back."

So, on May 19 she is going to sit in the back garden while my dad shaves her head and I video the whole thing over the back fence from a proper distance.

Mum will turn 81 on that day. It will be the first time she has done anything like this so please support her by donating - and remember to click for gift aid as well so even more is raised for St David's.
