The story:

I aim to write this with the utmost respect and sensitivity. My parents, Andy and Iris Lamb both have dementia. They are still the same, except for their short-term memory letting them down. They have always encouraged and supported me in whatever I've set out to achieve and have been my rock during difficult times in my life. Of course they have also been proud of me and celebrated all the good times! Their amazing mental strength was never more evident than last year when they tragically lost a daughter, something no parent should ever have to face. I’m so proud of them after all they have been through. As time goes on, they will need more care and I feel it is now my turn to do something for them. This tandem skydive is in their honour, inspired by them and a symbol of my respect for them whilst also helping others in the future by raising funds for continued research, more effective treatments and ideally a cure, as sadly, this is a cruel and increasingly common condition. Thank you in advance for your donation— no matter how small - every penny counts!!! ❤️
