Cycling from Kent to Gold Beach in Normandy · 3 June 2021

We honour the memory of the Normandy fallen to never forget their sacrifice.

Story

On the 16th of September 2021, a team of us are cycling 188 miles from the IAB offices in Kent to The National War Memorial in Lichfield.
Our aim is to raise funds to help build an information and education centre to teach others what happened during the D-Day landings and in memory of the 22,442 servicemen and women who lost their lives during the landings and to help George Batts MBE.

About the charity

We have built a permanent British Memorial to the 22,442 men who gave their lives during the D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy. With your support we can ensure that their sacrifice for our freedom is never forgotten.
