Story

After watching our friend run the London Marathon in 2018, my wife and I were inspired to sign up for the 2019 Marathon. We are raising money to fund research into Muscular Dystrophy. Our precious son has the life limiting disease which affect 1 in 3500 boys.  The muscles of children with MD do not repair after they get damaged and this leads to immobility and potential damage to the heart.  We are desperate to help the scientists find a cure to help our beautiful little boy and others like him. Any money you can spare will mean so much to us.  Harrison has already had to deal with so much but always gets on with it with a smile on his face so running 26 miles will be a massive challenge to us but our pain will only be short term.
