I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to not only raise money for a charity so close to mine and my families heart, but also to run one of the world Major marathons!

My wife lost her amazing Auntie Lou to cancer in October 2021, leaving behind her husband Paul and 2 children, Lauren and Daniel. Since the loss of Lou, the way that Paul, Lauren and Daniel have celebrated her life and kept her memory alive has inspired me every day. I’m so incredibly proud of all 3 of them. 

I contacted St Nicholas hospice and asked if they had any places for the London marathon and luckily for me, I got the call to say that I had been accepted! 

This is a huge honour for me, I want to be able to raise money to not just remember Lou but for all those other people out there, facing the challenges that no other human would wish upon another. 

St Nicholas hospice helped my family and now, this is my way of saying Thank you. 

When the going gets tough, it will be thoughts of Lou, Paul, Lauren and Daniel that will motivate every single step!
