Story
This year is my 50th Birthday and time for new challenges ! My 'simple' sky dive has turned into my own triathlon of events.
I decided to raise money for Alzheimer's Research, as it is not only a good cause but because unfortunately I lost my Dad and father-in-law to this disease. As a Paramedic with South Central Ambulance Service Trust I also see the effect this heart breaking condition has on many other families and want to do my bit to support the charity in ongoing research.
My first challenge is a 40k bike ride on the 28th April 2018, alongside the 5th Portsmouth Scout Group, who are joining me for support.
In May (26th) I will be completing my second challenge, a tandem skydive from 13,000 feet !! An ambition of mine for some time.
Finally, the Great South Run on October 21st. I ran this race back in 1991 in 1 hour 30 minutes so I like my final challenge to be to at least equal this time if not beat it !!
So if you are able to help in my quest to raise funds this year I would very much appreciate the support. With thanks.
