Story
This page is for all participants of the The Gerald Story Memorial Fun Run and Walk to share and raise funds for Cancer Research. The event takes place on Monday 2nd January 2023 and is organised by Worksop Harriers and the Worksop Cancer Research UK Committee.
At approximately 5 miles long, this family friendly run or walk starts at Worksop College and consists of a fully marshaled circular route comprising mostly of undulating trails with small sections of tarmac.
All money raised from the event will go to Cancer Research UK Committee in memory of Gerald Story.
Gerald was the President of Cancer Research UK in Worksop and was a founder member of the committee. His very keen interest in running, also led to him being the founder member of Worksop Harriers & AC.
