Story

CHALLENGE ULDATE 19.4.2021

Here we go again! This time we are doing the original event, however rather than running in November we are running the 24 hour challenge in June - extra daylight and warmth!

The challenge remains the same, how far can we get in 24 hours!

We aren't expecting anyone to donate twice, but if you missed it the first time round - here's your chance! Huge thank you for everyone's support!

CHALLENGE UPDATE  6.11.2020

As anticipated the original event is no longer going ahead due to lockdown take 2. HOWEVER, we have a new challenge - run as far away from home as possible (as the crow flies) and back again within 24hours!

We are currently checking routes and will update when we know for sure but we are looking to get as close to 100miles as possible 🤞

Original

On Friday 13th November 2020 at midnight, we are participating in the ultra marathon event 'Escape From Meriden'. The challenge begins in the village of Meriden (between Birmingham & Coventry) next to a statue which marks the centre point of England. From there we are given 24 hours to run as far as possible, and in any direction we choose unaided without any sleep.

As it stands the event is scheduled to go ahead on the above date, but if for any reason the event is cancelled we will look to create our own 24 hour challenge, so our training and your kind donations aren't for nothing!
