My name is Emma Wishart. I live in Leeds and I am absolutely thrilled to be announced as a Dance floor hero finalist 2023 which will be taking part on 24th February 2023 in Blackpool! 

I am participating in raising money for an amazing relatively new charity called Tia's Crown, who help fund dance classes for free to help those with any kind of mental health issues. 

I initially applied for the competition with absolutely no hope in getting through to the heats, never mind the FINAL!!! (still pinching myself)

Those of you who are closest to me know how i struggle daily with my mental health and more recently times have gotten just a little harder to deal with... so this is going to be a HUGE challenge to throw myself into and hopefully help me with my confidence and self esteem and get me back into my dancing shoes. 

I get to dance with a professional dancer in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. I have a dance/music chosen for me (yet to be revealed) and will get wear a stunning outfit that will also be provided for the night.  

Tia's crown (therapy in action) are a charity which are to help aid dance sessions for those who struggle with mental health and they're a blooming fantastic charity. 

I am aware of how hard the current times are at the minute and I absolutely appreciate as little/large you can donate.
